COURSE AIM

To provide participants with knowledge, skill and confidence to respond appropriately to a fire emergency and provide the knowledge proper use of emergency equipment and procedures to enhance their survival in a fire emergency.

COURSE CONTENT

On completion, participants will be able to demonstrate a competence in the theory and practice of the following:

COMPETENCY
Participants are required to pass an assessment of practical skills and written or verbal examination of theory

TRAINING METHOD
Initial theory session to cover fire chemistry and emergency equipment.
Practical use of portable fire extinguishers and fighting procedures.

Two (2) day course (09.00 – 16.00)
